Iran short film ‘Retouch’ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 5th edition of Basta International Film Festival in Serbia.
The flick is to represent Iran at the Serbian film event.
Directed by Kaveh Mazaheri and produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society, ‘Retouch’ is about a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.
The flick has so far won several international awards, including the Best Fiction Short Film award at the 13th Traverse City Film Festival in the US.
Basta Fest is an international short fiction film festival held in Bajina Basta. The festival focuses on the collaboration between directors and actors.
The 2018 edition of the event is slated for July 5-8, in Bajina Basta, Serbia. It is currently underway.
